GREENVILLE - Friday night’s Main Street Greenville Culinary Tour not only showed off a wide range of local recipes, but left the attendees stuffed by the end of the night.

As part of the tour, local businesses offered a unique sample from their own menus, ranging from savory sandwiches, sweet cupcakes, specialty coffee and even chocolate-dipped bacon.

Participants strolled South Broadway in the warm March weather, stopping into each tour business for brief periods and benefiting from a catered experience.

The Culinary Tour sold out of tickets preceding the event, raising $1,800 for the non-profit Main Street Greenville organization.

Several Greenville businesses participated in the tour, incluing D’Alessios, The Coffee Pot, Candy Bouquet, The A & B Coffee & Cake Co., KitchenAid Experience, Romer’s Catering & Entertainment Facilities, Janet’s Broadway Bakery,Ozro & Ray’s, Brenda’s Beanery, and The Bistro Off Broadway.

The event organizers also wished to thank Small Town Growth Group for sponsoring the event.
