DARKE COUNTY - The Darke County Grand Jury indicted for the second time a former Darke County auxiliary deputy on four more counts of alleged third degree felony sexual battery occurring last winter.

Bryan D. Wombolt, 27, of Versailles, was indicted Feb. 28 after the Greenville Police Department investigated alleged sexual assault charges involving a 17-year-old Greenville High School.

On June 3, the prosecutor’s office filed a motion in the Darke County Court of Common Pleas to drop the orginal four sexual assault charges and would file charges against the former auxiliary deputy that “should have been filed originally but thought to be unnecessary.”

The new indictment shows the same charges.
