Brantley Kissinger doesn’t appear to be as happy to see Santa Claus as his sister, Nakia, was on Saturday morning at the Breakfast With Santa at the Ansonia American Legion. Lots of children and parents and grandparents attended the event, which was coordinated by Betty Burnfield for the fourth year and hosted by the Ansonia Community Celebration group. Those who attended had the opportunity to eat pancakes, sausage and eggs and something to drink. The children received a goody bag and a gift at the event. Linda Leeper, with daughter Olivia and husband Dane, was there to again entertain the crowd. “We’re still going strong, and I will start my donations for next year’s event,” Burnfield said. Sponsors included Ansonia Fire Department, Dollar General, Captain D’s, Bob Evans, McDonalds, North Star Greenhouse, Sonic, Taco Bell, McVay’s Dairy and Ansonia American Legion.
