LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — Ansonia’s Samantha Shook, Greenville’s Paige Keller and Versailles’ Jenna Frantz qualified for the state gymnastics meet with their performances at the district meet.
Shook qualified for state in the all-around competition while Frantz and Keller advanced in individual events by placing in the top six.
Frantz, a freshman, placed sixth on floor with a 9.125 at districts to qualify for state.
Keller, a senior, placed first on vault with a 9.75 and fourth on bars with an 8.575 at districts to qualify for state.
Shook, a senior, placed third on bars with an 8.7, second on beam with a 9.1 and second in all-around with a 35.700 to qualify for state.
Other scores include Shook scoring an 8.9 on vault and a 9.0 on floor. Frantz scored an 8.85 on vault, a 7.7 on bars, an 8.15 on bars and a 33.825 in the all-around.
Keller scored a 7.3 on beams, an 8.975 on floor and a 34.600 in the all-around, finishing seventh in the all-around to become a state alternate.
Arcanum’s Emma Smith scored a 7.8 on vault, a 7.15 on bars, a 7.35 on beam, an 8.25 on floor and a 30.550 in the all-around.
Franklin Monroe’s Madison Meyers scored an 8.4 on vault, a 7.675 on bars, an 8.025 on beam, an 8.65 on floor and a 32.750 in the all-around.
Greenville’s Tessa Schatz scored an 8.0 on vault, a 7.6 on bars, a 7.0 on beam, an 8.4 on floor and a 31.000 in the all-around.
Greenville’s Sydney Oda scored a 7.8 on vault, a 7.45 on bars, a 7.2 on beam, a 7.75 on floor and a 30.200 in the all-around.
