KENTON — The Bradford powerlifting team capped off a great season Saturday at the state Division 4, 5, 6 and 7 state meet held at Kenton High School.


The Bradford girls team placed second, and the boys team placed fourth.


Bradford’s Kylee Floyd won the state championship in the girls 135-pound class. She lifted 305 pounds in squat, 100 in bench and 260 in deadlift for a total of 665 pounds. She had the top squat in her class and is a two-time state champion.


The Lady Railroaders’ Molli Lavey won the state championship in the girls 155-pound class. She lifted 315 pounds in squat, 105 in bench and 300 in deadlift for a total of 720 pounds. The two-time state champion had the top squat and deadlift in her class.


Natasha Lee of Bradford won the state championship in the girls 195-pound class. She lifted 290 pounds in squat, 130 in bench and 300 in deadlift for a total of 720 pounds. She had the top bench and deadlift in her class.


Bradford’s Justin Parke finished as the state runner up in the boys 165-pound class. He lifted 485 pounds in squat, 305 in bench and 470 in deadlift for a total of 1,260 pounds. He had the best bench and deadlift in his class.


Nathan Voisard from Bradford was the state runner up in the boys 175-pound class. He lifted 480 pounds in squat, 325 in bench and 475 in deadlift for a 1,280-pound total. He had the top bench in his class.


Krystal Smith finished third in the girls 115-pound class. She lifted 200 pounds in squat, 65 in bench and 190 in deadlift for a total of 460 pounds.


Krissy Parke placed third in the girls 135-pound class. She lifted 255 pounds in squat, 95 in bench and 240 in deadlift for a total of 590.


Rachel Lavey placed third in the girls unlimited class. She lifted 350 pounds in squat, 115 in bench and 295 in deadlift for a total of 760 pounds. She had the best squat in her class.


Cheyenne Parke finished third in the girls 135-pound class. She lifted 225 pounds in squat, 100 in bench and 225 in deadlift for a total of 550.


Jayde Mead finished fourth in the girls 145-pound class. She lifted 225pounds in squat, 70 in bench and 250 in deadlift for a total of 545 pounds.


Maria Vernon placed fourth in the girls 175-pound class. She lifted 265 pounds in squat, 110 in bench and 200 in deadlift for a 575-pound total.


Melanie Smith finished sixth in the girls 145-pound class. She lifted 165 pounds in squat, 95 in bench and 195 in deadlift for a total of 455 pounds.


Bradford’s Mark Barga placed sixth in the boys 125-pound class. He lifted 260 pounds in squat, 135 in bench and 235 in deadlift for a total of 630 pounds.


Bailey Powell finished sixth in the boys 250-pound class. He lifted 450 pounds in squat, 250 in bench and 405 in deadlift for a 1,160-pound total.


TJ Pullins placed seventh in the boys 185-pound class. He lifted 365 pounds in squat, 250 in bench and 405 in deadlift for a total of 1,020 pounds.


Robbie Loy finished ninth in the boys 210-pound class. He lifted 430 pounds in squat, 240 in bench and 430 in deadlift for a total of 1,100 pounds.


Nick Hoover finished 12th in the boys 155-pound class. He lifted 270 pounds in squat, 185 in bench and 355 in deadlift for a total of 810.
