KETTERING — The Greenville boys tennis team lost 3-2 to Fairmont on Tuesday, which was the Green Wave’s first loss of the season.
Voja Tatarevic won at first singles for Greenville, beating Ian Steiner 6-1, 6-2 to improve to 3-0 on the year.
Greenville also won at first doubles as the duo of Dylan Blinn and Nathan Haviza improved to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-4 win against Brandon Hosford and Nate Powers.
The Green Wave’s Javi Bixler lost his season debut, falling 6-4, 7-5 to Daniel Bendel in second singles.
Adam Null of Greenville lost his first singles match of the year 6-1, 6-2 to Sully O’Hara at third singles.
Greenville’s second doubles pair of Masen Rich and Quintin Muhlenkamp lost 6-4, 7-6 to Ethan Geiger and Jake Haas.
Greenville fell to 2-1 with the loss while Fairmont improved to 1-2.
