TROTWOOD — The Greenville boys tennis team beat Trotwood-Madison 4-1 on Thursday in the Green Wave’s Greater Western Ohio Conference North Division opener.

At first singles Greenville’s Voja Tatarevic beat Hank Grinner 6-0, 6-4.

Greenville’s Evan Kiser lost in second doubles 6-4, 6-3 to Trotwood’s Mario Rodgers.

In third singles the Wave’s Javi Bixler beat Emir Moore 6-1, 6-1.

In the first doubles match the Green Wave’s Nathan Haviza and Quintin Muhlenkamp knocked off Jordan Adams and Joel Kelty 6-4, 6-2.

Greenville’s Masen Rich and Noah Haupt beat Trevon Battle and Kobe Vinegar 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 in second doubles.

Greenville improved to 5-3 overall and 1-0 in the GWOC North with the win. Trotwood-Madison fell to 3-4 overall and 0-1 in the division.
