GREENVILLE — The Greenville girls tennis team swept Fairborn 5-0 on Tuesday for the Lady Wave’s fifth consecutive win.
In first singles Greenville’s Raquel Navas-Davis beat Brooklyn Hunter 6-2, 6-1. At second singles Madison Bixler swept Alyssa Stark 6-0, 6-0. In the third singles match the Lady Wave’s Abby Monnin swept Makayla Cantrell 6-0, 6-0.
The Wave’s top doubles team of Holly Cameron and Mallory Rich beat Allyssa Barker and Sydney Renner 6-2, 6-1. Greenville’s Erin Scott and Bavi Kaur defeated Maggie Neuman and Kyla Secrest 6-0, 6-1 in second doubles.
Greenville improved to 5-1 on the season with the win while Fairborn fell to 3-1.
Greenville’s junior varsity also swept Fairborn.
Alexis Wentworth and Molly Hunt won singles matches for the Lady Wave.
The doubles teams of Paige Flory and Larisa Schmitmeyer, Stacey Strobel and Amber Hutt, Alison Baughman and Hannah Gulley, Lynsie Siegle and Paige Ross plus Kaite Hurd and Hope Pike all won.
