Graduation is here and a time when the hearts are swelling with pride as proud parents and grandparents see their loved ones take the next step in their life. The Butterflies Junior Garden Club is very proud of three graduates as they prepare for this big event.
Meg Rehmert, daughter of Dan and Mindy Rehmert, has been a member of the Butterflies Junior Garden Club for 12 years. Meg has been a valuable member to our club as she has served on numerous committees and held many offices. Her parents and grandparents have been great supporters of our club which helps a lot.
Mackenzie Slade, daughter of Bill and Tiffany Slade, has also been another valuable member to the club as she has become talented in the traditional and creative artistic designs and has provided outstanding horticulture for the junior division of the fair flower shows.
Mariana Ramos, daughter of Marilyn Petty, has been a member for four years and will continue throughout the summer in our club. Mariana is very willing to help out in any area we might need assistance. She has grown to love artistic and horticulture and has learned a lot in junior garden club work.
We have seen these girls grow, thrive and succeed. They have won awards at the fair, helped in community plantings and Garst Museum projects. They have been very helpful in clerking flower shows.
As they have grown, each one’s personality and style has come to the forefront of their projects. Each is very creative in their own way and it shows in everything they do.
The girls have been an inspiration to the younger members of the Butterflies Junior Garden Club and have achieved great success.
We congratulate you on your academic and sports achievements and pray that success will always come your way in life.
So girls, from all of us, all the best for your future – we’re proud of you!
