Greenville boys bowling team finishes 4th in American North at GWOC tournament

DAYTON – Greenville’s boys finished fourth and girls finished sixth in the American North Division at the Greater Western Ohio Conference bowling tournament on Saturday at Poelking Lanes South.

The Greenville boys finished fourth in the American North by knocking down 3,539 pins on Saturday. Sidney won the divisional championship with 4,044 total pins, Vandalia-Butler finished second with 3,754, Piqua was third with 3,728, Troy finished fifth with 3,415, and Tippecanoe finished sixth with 3,399 pins.

Jordan Miller led the Greenville boys with games of 193, 159 and 183 for a 535 three-game series, placing 39th overall.

Cullen Blinn finished 43rd overall with games of 157, 180 and 185 for a 522 series. Mark Zeiler finished 44th with a 520 series, recording games of 180, 154 and 186.

Alex Kiser finished 51st overall with games of 140, 173 and 189 for a 502 series. Dylan Stepp rolled games of 166 and 214.

The Greenville girls knocked down 2,764 pins in the tournament. Troy won the American North championship with 3,824 total pins, Butler finished second with 3,468, Sidney was third with 3,141, Piqua finished fourth with 3,039, and Tippecanoe finished fifth with 2,842.

Alejandra Segura led the Greenville girls with games of 127, 138 and 157 for a 422 series, finishing 64th overall.

Hannah Bingham finished 67th with games of 105, 187 and 112 for a 404 series. Shila Thompson finished 71st with games of 123, 102 and 152 for a 377 series.

Jenna Netzley rolled games of 146, 103 and 96 for a 345 series, placing 76th overall. Leslie Miller finished 77th with games of 111, 132 and 95 for a 338 series.
