Versailles boys track team wins Minster Memorial

MINSTER – Versailles won the boys championship and finished as the runner up in the girls standings at the Minster Memorial track and field meet on Saturday.

The Versailles boys finished first out of 15 teams while Bradford finished 13th. Versailles’ girls finished as the runner up to Minster, and Bradford finished 10th.

Versailles’ Josh Steinbrunner won the boys 110 meter hurdles in 15.10.

Versailles won the girls 4×200 meter relay in 1:51.08.

Versailles won the boys 4×200 meter relay in 1:37.35.

Versailles won the girls 4×100 meter relay in 53.43.

Versailles’ Ellen Peters won the girls 300 meter hurdles in 48.96.

Versailles’ Josh Steinbrunner won the boys 300 meter hurdles in 42.73.

Bradford’s Karmen Knepp won the girls 3,200 meter run in 11:51.00.

Versailles won the boys 4×400 meter relay in 3:42.70.

Versailles’ Josh Steinbrunner won the boys high jump by clearing 6 feet.

Versailles’ Kyle Jones won the boys long jump by jumping 20 feet 4 inches.

Versailles’ Jenna Frantz won the girls pole vault by clearing a meet record 12 feet.
