PLEASANT HILL – Darke County resident Rhett Gipe committed to play college baseball at Northwood University.
Gipe is a four-year starter for the Newton baseball team as a catcher. He earned first team all-Cross County Conference honors as both a sophomore and junior.
Northwood is a NCAA Division II member in Midland, Michigan.
