ARCANUM – Arcanum lost 5-1 to Tri-County North in a Cross County Conference baseball game on Monday.

Arcanum took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but North scored three runs in the third, one in the fourth and one in the sixth.

Tri-County North had seven hits and one error. Arcanum had four hits and three errors.

Kaleb Shilt went 1-for-3 and scored Arcanum’s lone run. Ben Sease and Mitch Wogoman both went 1-for-3 while Layne Byrne was 1-for-4.

Wade Meeks pitched the complete game for Arcanum, allowing three earned runs and two unearned runs on seven hits, one walk, one hit batter and three strikeouts.
