Greenville remains No. 3 in Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association state poll

COLUMBUS – Greenville remained No. 3 in the Division II state rankings in the latest Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association state poll of the 2017 season.

In the third weekly poll of the season, Greenville remained third behind Hebron Lakewood and LaGrange Keystone in Division II. The Lady Wave have been ranked in all three polls this season, starting at No. 6 in the first poll and moving up to No. 3 in the two most recent polls.

Greenville is the lone Darke County team to be ranked in the OHSFSCA poll this season. The Lady Wave have been ranked in 80 of the last 81 state polls.

Other teams with Darke County connections ranked in the poll include Greater Western Ohio Conference member Lebanon being ranked No. 2 in Division I, Midwest Athletic Conference member Parkway being ranked No. 4 in Division IV, MAC member New Bremen being ranked No. 7 in Division IV, and Cross County Conference member Newton being ranked No. 10 in Division IV.
