NEW MADISON – Tri-Village has hired Andrew Bobalik, the head coach at Hebron Lakewood, to be its varsity boys basketball coach.

Bobalik was the head coach at Hebron Lakewood the past two seasons and was a health teacher. Prior to that, he was head coach at Heartland Christian in Columbiana and an assistant coach at NCAA Division II school Wheeling Jesuit in West Virginia.

In high school Bobalik played for East Liverpool, averaging 27 points per game as a senior and earning second team all-Ohio honors.

Bobalik replaces Josh Sagester, who stepped down this spring. Sagester led Tri-Village to the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division IV state championship in 2015.
