Jets ranked 10th in the state

COLUMBUS – The Franklin Monroe boys are ranked third in the Miami Valley and 10th in the state in the first coaches polls of the 2015 soccer season.

The Franklin Monroe boys are tied with Greeneview for third place in Division III in the Miami Valley Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association local rankings. The Jets only trail Dayton Christian and Yellow Springs in the local rankings.

Franklin Monroe is ranked 10th in the state in the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Division III rankings. The Jets trail Worthington Christian School, Mansfield Christian School, Dayton Christian School, Columbus Academy, Beachwood, Fort Jennings, St. Thomas Aquinas, Bishop Rosecrans and Yellow Springs in the state rankings.

The Franklin Monroe boys soccer team is the only Darke County team ranked in either the local or state soccer rankings.

Greater Western Ohio Conference member Beavercreek is ranked fourth in the Division I boys state rankings, and GWOC member Springboro is ranked sixth in the Division I girls state rankings. The Butler boys and Beavercreek girls also received votes in the state rankings.
