DARKE COUNTY — Ted and Jennie (Hiller) Baltes are observing their 50th wedding annivesary on Aug. 10. The were married Aug. 10, 1974 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Ashland, Ohio.

They are the parents of two children, Matthew (Melissa) Baltes, Troy, and Katie (Gerald) Taneray, Moutreuil – sous – Perouse, France. They are blessed with three grandchildren, Jonathan Bates (7), Camille (9), and Evan (6) Taneray.
