GREENVILLE — The Greenville boys golf team lost a close one to Tippecanoe at Turtle Creek Golf Course on August 15, 175-165.

Both sophomore Cole Oswalt and Hayden Null led the team with a 42. Junior Drew Beisner had a 43 while sophomore Brody Weaver and freshman Kaiden Hickey both had a 48. Senior Carson Good shot a 53.

For Tippecanoe, Andrew Gagnon led with a 39. Sam Dilworth shot a 40 with Trey Bottles and Carson Jackson both shooting a 43. Eli Voisard and Max Gustavson both shot a 44.

“We had our best round of the season today. Cole, Hayden and Drew had good rounds today. Except for a few holes, Brody, Kaiden and Carson played decent. As young as we are, we should only get better as the season goes,” head coach Brian Stickel said.
