BRADFORD — The Versailles boys golf team won their first MAC match of the season with a close 168-169 win over New Bremen at Stillwater Valley Golf Course.

Ethan Phlipot led the way for the Tigers with a 40. Brayden Wagner and Seth Shafer both shot a 41, a personal best for Shafer. Maddox Stonebraker rounded out the scoring with a 46. Austin Ruhenkamp had a 47 and Gavin Hecht had a 56.

They will head to Arrowhead Golf Course next to take on Minster on August 19 at 4 p.m.
