Three Greenville girls golfers score personal best, boys fall in close match to Sidney

GREENVILLE — The Greenville boys and girls golf teams dropped a conference match on August 19. The girls lost 205-197 to Butler at Cassel Hills Golf Course. The boys lost 173-159 to Sidney at home at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

Junior Vera Cox led the team with a personal best 41 nine-hole score. Junior Sofia Chrisman had a personal best 47 nine-hole score. Sophomore Ava Good also had a personal best nine-hole score with a 58. Senior Callee Moore rounded out the scoring with a 59. Sophomore Kennedy Schoen had a 62 and freshman Erin Winner had a 70.

The Lady Aviators were led by Shelby Drinnon with a 40, MacKenzie Kohlreiser with a 47, Charli Price with a 53 and Julianna Golde with a 57. Also playing were Ava Williamson and Grace Weber – both had 58.

For the boys, junior Drew Beisner led the Green Wave with a 41. Sophomore Cole Oswalt had a 43, senior Carson Good had a 44 and freshman Hayden Null had a 45. Senior Josh Baker scored a 48 and Michael McMahon scored a 56.
