VERSAILLES — The Versailles girls golf team picked up a 218-253 win over Miami East on August 21 at Stillwater Valley Golf Course.

Playing on the back nine of the course, Ella Porter led with a 39. Brooke Keiser shot a 50, Madelyn Farver shot a 63 and Danielle Francis shot a 66. Keira Rahm had a 71 and Lucy Schmitmeyer had a 76.

For Miami East, Bianca Stevens led with a 58. Addison Registar had a 61, Sophie Minnach had a 66 and Evelyn Potter had a 68 to round out the scoring.

The team will have four straight road matches on the upcoming schedule. After they take on Coldwater, they are at Delphos St. John’s on August 27, at Graham on August 29 and at Fort Recovery on September 5. Their next scheduled home match is on September 9 against St. Henry at 4:30 p.m.
