Third alarm tankers and third alarm engines were called to a barn fire on Aug. 23 from late evening into the early morning. Versailles Fire Chief Brian Pearson said the fire was contained to one barn, and there were no reported injuries. The barn was a newer build containing around 1,100 pigs. CareFlight was alerted due to there being a missing first responder, but the individual was located and CareFlight was dismissed.
