Jerry Bey is set to be named the next Versailles wrestling head coach.

VERSAILLES — Pending board approval on September 17, the Versailles Athletic Department is proud to announce our new head wrestling coach, Jerry Bey. He takes over the program after his brother, A.J., announced his retirement this summer.

Jerry graduated from Versailles High School in 1989. He was a member of the 1989 state runner up wrestling team and placed 4th individually at 103 lbs. He continued his wrestling career at Ohio Northern University.

Jerry has coached at Versailles for 27 years, the last 15 as the varsity assistant coach. He is currently the President of Versailles Savings and Loan Company. He currently resides in Versailles with his wife of 29 years, Sundra. Together, they have 4 children and 1 grandchild. Please welcome Coach Jerry Bey!
