GMCB presents The Grandest of Finales

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Municipal Concert Band will present it’s final show of the season this Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at the beautiful Marling Band Shell in the wonderful Greenville City Park. The concert is free and open to the public.

This week, the show has a little something for everyone. Featured singers are Kari Thompson and John and Chelsea Whirledge. Thompson will be singing the great aria from King of Egypt, When You Believe. John will be singing the great Louis Armstrong favorite What a Wonderful World and Chelsea will sing the great Judy Garland ballad from the Wizard of Oz, Over the Rainbow. Other fun music and marches will be featured by the incredible band. Food trucks will be on hand from 5-7 p.m. for your enjoyment as well. Fren-Ches and Kona Ice will help you with any hunger issues.

Plenty of bench seating is available or you are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to sit and enjoy the show. Bring a friend this Sunday at 7 p.m. and enjoy the park and the wonderful concert by the Greenville Municipal Concert Band.
