VERSAILLES — The Versailles boys and girls golf teams were back in action on September 10. The girls team won 198-221 over Delphos St. John’s for a MAC win at Delphos Country Club. It was the teams second lowest score of the season. The boys team lost 169-158 to Botkins at Shelby Oaks.

For the Lady Tigers, Ella Porter led with a 38. Brooke Keiser had a 49, Madelyn Farver had a 52 and Danielle Francis had a 59. Lucy Schmitmeyer shot a 70 and Keira Rahm shot a 76.

On the boys side, Ethan Phlipot led with a 38. Brayden Wagner had a 42, Maddox Stonebraker had a 44 and Austin Ruhenkamp had a 45. Gavin Hecht shot a 52 and Seth Shafer shot a 53.

The girls will take on Arcanum on September 16 at 4 p.m. at Beechwood Golf Course. The boys will compete in the Nate Niekamp Invitational on September 14 at Mercer County Elks.
