Darke ED developing local leaders

GREENVILLE — Darke County Economic Development is excited to launch its new initiative, Leadership Darke County. Leadership Darke County is a comprehensive 10-month initiative designed to cultivate and enhance leadership skills within the community. The program is open to individuals actively pursuing leadership roles in local organizations, providing a unique opportunity to build leadership capacity, foster collaboration, and drive innovation across Darke County.

Leadership Darke County is dedicated to identifying emerging leaders and empowering them to reach their full potential. Through a series of monthly sessions, participants will explore a range of leadership topics, develop a deeper understanding of their own leadership styles, and strengthen their ability to lead effectively within their communities and organizations.

The 2025 program will cover a variety of leadership topics, such as, Self and Leadership Assessment, Career Management and Mentorship, Communication, and many more.

In addition to each leadership topic, each session will include a visit to a local organization, offering participants real-world insights into leadership in various contexts. The program will conclude with a graduation ceremony at Darke County Economic Development’s Fall Mixer, celebrating the achievements of the participants.

Interested individuals are required to submit an application and undergo an interview process. The 2025 class will be limited to 20 participants, ensuring a personalized and impactful experience. Applications are due Oct. 25.

Leadership Darke County is a community educational program dedicated to increasing the quality and quantity of leaders capable of accepting leadership roles across various organizations. Through this program, participants will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to make a lasting impact on their community.
