Versailles takes first and second in Tour De Sewer

VERSAILLES — Versailles Exempted Village Schools hosted the Tour De Sewer cross country meet on September 21. The host school did well as the boys team took first place and the girls team took second place.

For the rest of the girls standings, Mississinawa Valley finished in fifth place and Arcanum finished in sixth place.

For Versailles, sophomore Ava Rismiller took first place with a time of 20:27.1. Freshman Lillian Selhorst took fifth with a 21:41.9 and junior Chloe Steinbrunner took 12th with a 22:05.4. For Mississinawa Valley, senior Taylee Woodbury took fourth with a 21:03.3. Senior Syenna Purdin took 32nd with a 23:50.3 and freshman Tenlee Woodbury took 33rd with a 23:50.4. For Arcanum, freshman Ella Warren took 15th with a 22:31.6 while freshman Brynn Byers took 16th with a 22:43.1. Freshman Kennedy Hayes took 41st with a 24:16.2. For Franklin Monroe, freshman Stella Fugate took 18th with a 22:56.5. Sophomore Mia Brookey took 35th with a 23:57.3 and sophomore Hannah Wolfe took 45th with a 24:33. For Bradford, senior Emma Lavey took 23rd with a time of 23:13.3. Sophomore Savannah Beachler took 29th with a 23:46.2 and sophomore Natalie Wood took 43rd with a 24:27.9. For Ansonia, junior Olivia Creager took 31st with a time of 23:49.3. Sophomore Alexa Kreiner took 39th with a 24:11.5 and junior Bella Obringer took 77th with a 28:45.3.

For the rest of the boys standings, Ansonia took fifth place. Arcanum took eighth, Franklin Monroe took ninth and Bradford took 13th.

For Versailles, junior Tony Moorman took second place with a time of 16:11.6. Sophomore Jackson Spitzer took third with a 16:13.2. Junior Zachary Rahm took sixth with a 16:48.4 and senior Cameron Magoto took seventh with a 16:58.5. For Ansonia, sophomore Bennett Lehman took first place with a time of 16:01.1. Junior Luken Longenecker took 33rd with a time of 18:37.5 and sophomore Wyatt Unrast took 35th with a 18:40.6. For Arcanum, junior Malachi Wright took 43rd with a time of 18:50.9. Junior Clark Lemons took 46th with a time of 18:51.5 and senior Owen Netherly took 53rd with a time of 19:19.9. For Franklin Monroe, Sam Haney took 39th with a time of 18:44.6. Freshman Charlie Stull took 48th with a time of 19:02.3 and sophomore Vail Cox took 78th with a time of 20:30.6. For Bradford, freshman Brendan Hansen took 101st with a time of 22:04.7. Freshman Eli Hoffman took 104th with a 22:17.0 and freshman Lucas Nicholson took 129th with a time of 23:48.4. For Mississinawa Valley, senior Daniel Hartzell took 29th with a time of 18:31.5.
