All-American Patriot Cheer and Dance Championship

NEW MADISON — It is the 19th anniversary of the Annual All-American Patriot Cheer and Dance Championship 2024 on Sunday, Sept. 29. Tri-Village Local Schools (located at 315 south Main Street in New Madison) will host the event in the newly enhanced junior high gym in the high school building starting at 2 p.m. The doors will open to the cheerleading squads and coaches only at noon. The doors will open to the public at 1 p.m.

The purpose of this event is to showcase the spirit and talents of the county and surrounding areas cheerleaders. This year over 250 cheerleaders will compete in 43 performances. The competition will consist of the following divisions: youth cheer, youth dance, junior high cheer, junior high dance, varsity high school gameday, varsity cheer, varsity pom, varsity hip hop, varsity cheer and individual routines in youth and high school levels. The schools ahending are from: Ansonia, Darke County Elite, Dixie, Greenville, Mississinawa Valley, Nañonal Trail, Troy, Tri-Village and UC Stateliner’s.

Individual division will be in youth and high school levels.

During the event Tri-Village will be providing a concession for all athletes and fans in the commons area. The event will have the following items for sale: Lisa’s Bows with a huge supply of bows and key chains, long stem pink carnations from the Rose Post, Cheer Event t-shirts in two colors and styles from Dynamite Designs.

The admission cost for the general public is $7 and children five and under are free. Please come and enjoy a great day of cheer and dance.
