GREENVILLE — The Darke County Foundation welcomed 640 registered participants to its annual Sunshine 5K. The Sept. 21 event in Greenville City Park raised $20,000 for non-profit organizations that serve our community.

The Darke County Foundation would like to thank Family Health for serving as a major sponsor of the event. The local healthcare organization provided financial support as well as dental products that were included in the 5K swag bag.

Proceeds from the Sunshine 5K benefited these non-profit organizations: Cancer Association of Darke County (Team AddieGirl), DeColores Montessori School, Edison Foundation, Final Bow Center for Children’s Performing Arts, LifeWise Academy Greenville, LifeWise Academy Versailles, and Y.O.L.O. of Darke County.
