GREENVILLE — On Oct. 3, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Greenville Police Officers were dispatched to a traffic crash with injury at Wagner Avenue and Rhoades Avenue. Upon initial investigation an officer located a subject with serious injuries and CareFlight was requested at the scene.

Officers from the Greenville Police Department, Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Fire Department, and Greenville Township Rescue rendered aid to the subject. The subject was flown by careflight from the scene and their condition is unknown.

Initial investigation shows a Blue Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on Wagner Avenue near Rhoades Avenue. The Hyundai was in the turn lane to travel east into the Edison College parking lot. There was a black Ducati motorcycle traveling north bound on Wagner Avenue near the same intersection. The Hyundai turned and the motorcycle collided into the passenger side of the vehicle. Speed does appear to be a possible factor in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation by the Greenville Police Department.
