BRADFORD — Children between the ages of two and five years old had their chance to shine during the 95th annual Bradford Pumpkin Show. Eight boys and 18 girls dressed in their best Family Game Night themed costumes to try and earn the titles of Little Miss and Master Pumpkin.
The contestants were judged during the afternoon and had the opportunity to ride in the parade before they came back to the stage to learn who the winners were. There were a variety of costumes that depicted board games like Mouse Trap, Operation, and Candy Land.
After the results were tallied, Lemon Owens, age three, daughter of Dylan and Blake Owens of Bradford, was named the 2024 Little Miss Pumpkin Show and Everett Patterson, age three, son of Brooke and Cale Patterson of Summerville, SC, wore the crown for Little Master Pumpkin Show. Patterson also won for Best Costume with his Whack a Mole costume.
Joining them on the Pumpkin Show royalty court are first runners-up Blaire Elizabeth Arnett and Will Pohlman. Arnett also won for Best Costume with her Old Maid costume. She is three years old and the daughter of Bryce and Bailey Arnett of Bradford. Pohlman, age four, is the son of Courtney and Alex Pohlman of Miamisburg.
The second runners-up are Georgia Canan and Kade Krueger. Canan, age three, is the daughter of Taylor and Dylan Canan of Bradford. Krueger, age four, is the son of Chuck and Anissa Krueger of Bradford. Krueger also took second place in the float contest.
Ellie Fry, age two, daughter of Eric and Ashley Fry of Bradford, took the top prize for best float. Natalie Aldstadt, age four, daughter of Erin Sell and Jesse Aldstadt of Piqua, took third place in the float contest.
Additional Little Miss Pumpkin contestants were Aria Hittle, Avery Honeyman, Ivy Blythe Huelskamp, Irie Schmidt, Sadie-Lynn Dotson, Kyrie Yohey, Winter Rose Brussell, Lakeyn Atchley, Aleia Kroeker, Riley Wilson, Sophia Chapman, Lilian Sanderson and Adalynn Sanderson.
Additional Little Mister Pumpkin contestants were Weslee Brandt, Lucas Kiehl, Hayden Grant, Wrigley Noffsinger, and Ivan Canan.
