Ansonia EMA will celebrate 50 Years of Service with Open House

ANSONIA — Ansonia EMS will celebrate 50 years of service with an Ansonia Area Emergency Service Open House.

Ansonia Area Emergency Service is excited to invite the community to its 50th Anniversary Open House, a milestone event celebrating five decades of dedicated emergency response and community support. Join the fun on Sunday, Sept. 8th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the EMS Building; 225 Elroy-Ansonia Road West, Ansonia.

The open house will offer an afternoon full of engaging activities for all ages. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the dedicated Squad personnel, and learn about the vital work they do. Experience live demonstrations, enjoy interactive exhibits, and explore the history of AAES through displays showcasing our evolution over the past 50 years.

There will also be Emergency Vehicle Tours where the community can get an up-close look at Ansonia’s fleet of ambulances. A Kid’s Safety Corner will provide educational activities designed to teach children about safety in a fun and engaging way. Live Demonstrations will run allowing the community to watch demonstrations of emergency medical equipment. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will also be available.

Enter to win door prizes donated by local businesses. This special event is not only a celebration but also a heartfelt thank you to the community that has supported the Ansonia Emergency Services throughout the years.
