GREENVILLE — The Anna Bier Gallery is thrilled to announce a fun and engaging Paint Pouring Workshop for individuals aged 14 and older. The workshop takes place on Oct. 8 from 6–8 p.m. This hands-on activity will take place in the Anna Bier Art Gallery located inside St. Clair Memorial Hall and promises a unique opportunity for artistic expression and exploration.

Paint pouring is a contemporary art technique that allows participants to create captivating abstract designs by pouring and manipulating acrylic paints on canvas. This workshop will guide attendees through the basics of the technique, from mixing paints to pouring methods, ensuring that everyone leaves with a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Anna Bier Art Gallery, inside St. Clair Memorial Hall, 215 W. 4th St. Greenville, OH 45331. Please use the handicap entrance located on the side of the building. The Gallery is on the main floor behind the ticket window.

Jennifer Overholser, Artistic Director of Visual Arts at DCCA, expressed her enthusiasm for the workshop, stating, “We are excited to offer this innovative and fun artistic experience to our community. Paint pouring is not only a relaxing and enjoyable activity but also a great way to explore creativity and produce beautiful art, regardless of skill level. We welcome all interested individuals to join us and discover the joy of paint pouring.”

The workshop is open to participants aged 14 and older, making it an ideal event for both budding and experienced artists. No prior painting experience is required, and all materials will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that they don’t mind getting a little paint on.
