Senior Charlie Pope and her fellow seniors were honored before the match.

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Lady Wave tennis team won 5-0 over Sidney at home on senior day on September 18. Seniors Willow Candy-Stone, Bre Landis, Charlie Pope, Haylee Shuttleworth and Adele Strunks were honored prior to the match.

In the single matches, sophomore Riley Capasso won 6-3, 6-4. In the second singles, junior Maddie Lance won 6-2, 6-0. In the third singles, sophomore Sienna Gilman won 6-1, 6-0.

In the double matches, Shuttleworth and sophomore Meadow Murphy won 6-0, 6-0. In the second doubles, Pope and sophomore Kirsten Horn won 6-4, 7-6.

The team will compete in the MVL Championship on September 24 at 10 a.m. at Troy High School.
