THEFT: At 9:17 a.m. officers responded to the 700 block of Chestnut Street in reference to a possible theft that had occurred. A female employee stated she had $100 missing from her wallet. The last time she had seen her money was on the 15th. He husband did not take the cash out of her wallet, and she did not realize her money was gone until Aug. 22 when she was talking to another female employee who started pulling out multiple $20 bills. The female asked the other employee where she had got the cash from, and they replied with a guy named “Chase” spilled formula on her at the store and he gave her the $100. Another employee also came forward to state that she had $10 missing from her wallet on Aug. 20. She had put a note on her purse where her $10 went missing to “give it back or I would go to our boss and tell her that it was taken.” Shortly after she left the note, the other female employee began “freaking out” and tried to give her $10 saying she would take the blame, so no one got into trouble. The same employee that was missing $10 stated a couple weeks ago, the same thing happened with $25. The other female employee tried to give her $15 back for that instance as well, but she did not take the money. The lockers all do not have locks, and there are no cameras in the locker area. On Sept. 3, at 12:10 p.m., officers made contact with victim stating that the other female employee admitted to taking the money, and the female employee stated she still did not want any charges pursued. FIGHT: At 10:32 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Wagner Avenue in reference to a fight. Officers spoke to the hostess who stated she witnessed three unknown subjects run out of the restaurant after getting into a fight with two other individuals who were still sitting at the bar. The male stated he was not involved in the fight, he was trying to defend the other male. He explained that they were drinking when an individual, later identified, came up to them and started making comments about the other male and his son. This went on for the duration of their whole dinner, and after the other male’s son left, both the males were near the restrooms when the individual and two others started hitting the other male, ganging up on him. The other male stated that the identified male and the two others were talking about him and his son. After his son left, the males jumped him. The other male had a cut near his right eye and was bleeding when officers arrived, however, he stated he did not want medical treatment. Dispatch sent officers to the 200 block of Surrey Lane in reference to a male bleeding from the face due to a fight. The individual, identified as the identified male at the restaurant, stated that the two victims were antagonizing him at his table. This continued throughout the duration of their whole dinner, and he stated that the two men jumped him in the bathroom, causing injuries to his face. The identified male received medical treatment by Greenville Township Rescue for the injuries. Due to conflicting stories, not one wanting to be a victim, and the restaurant not having video footage of the incident, there will be no charges filed.
