NEW MADISON — Marlin and Linda Falknor celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 26. Marlin and the former Linda Fowble were married Sept. 26, 1964, at the New Madison United Methodist Church.

Marlin and Linda have spent their entire 60 years of marriage in New Madison. They continue to enjoy their life together, whether going to church, working in the yard, riding their golf cart around New Madison or visiting others. They have been such a great example of having a Godly marriage. They have two children, a son Marlin Jeffrey (Andrea) Falknor of West Manchester and a daughter Marlinda Lea (William) Metzcar of Greenville. They have 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Marlin is the son of the late Harold “Boone” and Eugenia Falknor. Linda is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marthalea Fowble.
