GREENVILLE — The Darke County Park District Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Board Meeting on Oct. 9, 2 p.m., at Shawnee Prairie Preserve Nature Education Center, 4267 State Route.502 W., Greenville. This meeting is for the purpose of discussing proposed payroll processing contracts.

GPL celebrates Indigenous Peoples’ Day

GREENVILLE – In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Monday, Oct. 14, the Greenville Public Library will be closed. They will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. As always, the book drop will be available for those needing to return materials while we are closed.

Board of Elections meeting

GREENVILLE — The Darke County Board of Elections will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m. for its October regular meeting. The board meets in the office located at 300 Garst Ave., Greenville.

Bradford BoE meeting

BRADFORD — The Bradford Exempted Village School District Board of Education will meet in regular session, 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 760 Railroad Ave., Bradford, in Room 404. The public is invited to join the meeting in person or watch virtually using the information on the district website, www.Bradford.k12.oh.us. Any person wishing to address the board must contact the superintendent no later than 1 p.m. on Tuesday of the board meeting. The regular session will be followed by an executive session, if necessary, as provided by law.

County offices closed

GREENVILLE — Darke County’s governmental offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 14 in observance of Columbus Day.
