BRADFORD — On Oct. 15, at approximately 5:27 p.m., Darke County Deputies along with Bradford Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 721 and U.S. Route 36 East, Bradford, in reference to an injury accident.

The preliminary investigation revealed a black Ford Focus was traveling east on U.S. Route 36 at State Route 721. A white Nissan Pathfinder was stopped on State Route 721 facing south at the stop sign. The driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the driver of the Ford and the two collided.

The driver of the Ford was identified as Tiffany Thompson, 42, of Troy.

The driver of the Nissan was identified as Sonya Blevins, 54, of West Milton. Ms. Blevins was transported to Upper Valley Hospital for suspected minor injuries by Bradford Rescue.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
