UNION CITY, Ind. — The Union City Police Department SETT team successfully executed a search warrant on the evening of Oct. 17 in the 1000 block of W. Oak St., leading to the seizure of over 300 grams of methamphetamine.

During the operation, officers arrested Ann Funk-Weimer, a resident of Union City, Ind. Funk faces serious charges including possession of methamphetamine, a Level 3 felony, and dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony. She is currently being held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Director of Public Safety Mark Ater stated, “The Union City Police Department is committed to combating drug-related crime in our community. We will continue to target drug dealers and keep our neighborhoods safe.”

This investigation is ongoing, and UCPD anticipates more arrests as they work to dismantle local drug operations.
