Seniors Halloween Dance

GREENVILLE — There will be a Halloween Dance for Darke County seniors on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2-5 p.m., at the Birchwood Senior Center, 5844 Jaysville St. Johns Road, Greenville. It is free and light refreshments will be provided. A deejay will be providing the music. Costumes are optional.

GHS 1955 Class Luncheon

GREENVILLE — The Greenville High School Class of 1955 will hold its monthly luncheon at noon on Thursday, Oct. 31, at Bob Evans on Wagner Avenue, Greenville. For more information, contact Georgeanna.

Tri-County Board annual meeting

TROY — The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will host its Annual Meeting and Artists Reception Thursday, Oct. 24 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the board’s Administration & Training Center, 1280 N. County Road 25A, Troy. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. At approximately 6 p.m. there will be a short formal program to announce the 2024 Directors’ Award and the 2024 Geraldine B. Nelson Advocate of the Year. The free event is open to the public. There will not be a formal business meeting of the board. Art of Recovery features 94 pieces on exhibit this year. The exhibit is on display through Oct. 24 during business hours 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Tri-County Board Administration & Training Center.

Greenville Utilities Committee meets

GREENVILLE — The Utilities Committee of Greenville City Council will meet on Thursday, Oct. 17, 1 p.m., in Council Chambers, Municipal Building, to discuss replacing commercial and residential water meters in the city.
